Outage Notifications

Power Outage: to inform you when a power outage has occurred. 

Power Outage Restored: to inform you when your power outage has been restored.

Power Outage Update: to inform you when the estimated time of restoration of a power outage has been updated.

Planned Power Outage: to inform you when a power outage is planned due to upgrades, maintenance, repairs, tree trimming, etc.

Billing & Payments

Bill Available: to inform you when your bill is available to view online.

Payment Confirmation: to inform you that we have received your payment. 

AutoPay Enrollment Confirmation: to inform you that you have successfully been enrolled in the autopay program. 

Get Started

Utilize SmartHub to report outages, view and pay your bill, analyze your usage, sign up for notifications, and more.

1. Download the free SmartHub app at smarthubapp.com or visit this link on your laptop or computer.  

2. Register for a SmartHub account - you'll need your account number (listed on your billing statement). 

How to Set Up Notifications

1. Go to Manage Contacts under the Notifications tab. 

2. Click Add E-mail Contact or Add Phone Contact.

*To successfully complete the addition, you must enter the corresponding verification code that was e-mailed or texted to the new contact.

3. Go to Manage Notifications, under the Notifications tab and select one of the drop downs to enroll in account notifications by type.

  • Billing - Bill available, billing change, DQ notice, payment confirmation
  • Miscellaneous - Auto Pay change, login credentials change, personal info change
  • Service - Planned power outage, power outage, power outage restored, power outage update

4. To assign notifications by account, use the Select Account dropdown menu to assign specific contacts to certain accounts. 

  5. Send outage messaging to multiple contacts by adding check marks to your contacts that should receive the notifications.

1. Open the free SmartHub app. 

2. Go to the Main Menu, Settings, Contact Methods to add contacts.

3. Submit the verification code to finish adding contact info. 

4. Go to Manage Notifications to enroll those contacts in account notifications by type:
