Midland Power recently donated and installed two utility poles with LED security lights to help keep residents and visitors of Stratford’s Athens Woods Estates retirement center safe.

After a driver ended up in the lawn after missing one of their winding driveway’s curves due to poor lighting and blowing snow, the center's residents reached out to Midland for help.

As a non-profit, Athens Woods also secured assistance from the Stratford Mutual Telephone Company, which handled the electrical wiring.
