Midland Power Cooperative will host the co-op’s first electric vehicle car club event to help educate members about the pros and cons of owning an EV.
Members who own an electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) are encouraged to register to display their vehicle. All members who bring an EV or PHEV will receive a limited-edition DRIVE Electric Vehicle Car Club hat.
WHEN: Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 8-10 a.m.
WHERE: Midland Power Cooperative Boone office, 2005 S. Story St., Boone
WHAT: Join fellow EV enthusiasts and members curious about electric vehicles for a morning of food and fun. We hope to have a variety of EVs and PHEVs on display for members to check out and ask questions of seasoned EV and PHEV owners. Midland’s energy services team will be on hand cooking up FREE omelettes and answering members’ questions about EVs.
